Lovely coffee shop on Schlössberg Platz (near to the lift). A good variety of breakfast and brunch choices with excellent coffee, local breads, including gluten free and vegan options! We sat outside on a beautiful sunny day, but inside is nice too if the weather isn’t quite so nice!
This is a nice place to have a breakfast by the foot of the Schlossberg (the hill in the middle of Graz with the clock tower on top). With an outside area to sit, this is a nice option for warm Summer days. The food was delicious and the two options I had were more than enough for one person. They have a lot of vegan options and most plates show the amount of protein that is contained. The staff were kind and very fast. I did not wait more than 1 minute to be seated. Very nice experience and I will certainly come back!
Spot on cafe in Graz center! Unusual yet cozy at the same time. Try the cheesecake and cappuccino as soon as possible.
We were chuffed to find this place while looking for a breakfast spot. We loved the area and the food. They had a lot of different options - both sweet and savoury.
The breakfast was delicious and the view really nice ;) They have interesting tea flavours.
It was swamped inside, but the staff was friendly and quick. You order and pay at the bar, but then they bring everything to you, so you can relax while waiting.
If you like the plates or mugs, you can buy them inside.
In the evening they have a variety of drinks, and since the mountain looks even nicer at night, I think it's a great place for a drink in the evening.
If we stop in Graz again, we will for sure come back. They also have a place in Vienna.
Super vegan friendly. Unlike most restaurants and cafes in town this restaurant has many vegan dishes and desserts to choose from. I love to go there on Saturday mornings for a delicious vegan breakfast. It is located in Schloßbergplatz. You can enjoy the view and relax while drinking a nice coffee. Staff is very friendly. Prices are fair. It is quite popular, best to reserve a table in advance.
We decided to visit the place because of the significant hype around it, but honestly, we were quite disappointed. In my opinion, it was an underwhelming experience across the board. While the lower floor had a somewhat intriguing ambiance, service was not better than average and both the selection of dishes and the dishes we ordered were unremarkable and bland. Imho, skip it.
We had lunch there on the outside terrace. The view of the Schlossberg stairs is awesome, we had very good drinks and the food (simple lunch menu) was good too. The pumpkin-ebly-risotto and the parmesan soup were tasty, the fried potatoes with sausage and egg was good too. The piece of cake coming as dessert option was a bit on the small side but was fresh, moist and delicious.
For the location (touristy) it was not super expensive, so can definitely recommend as a lunch option. Quite some vegan dishes on the menu as well.
Delicious food, nice staff, and beautiful view if you sit outside.
